The Salt and Light Coalition Reignite Retreat is a personal growth and development retreat designed to reignite the fire of transformation for women who have graduated from our program. With this retreat, our Thrivers are given the space, tools, and support they need to continue the work of improving their lives and impacting their communities.
We love to keep in touch with our Thrivers long after they’ve graduated from our program. Every year, we organize a get together for all of the SALC alumni. During this annual gathering, we found that:
Our graduates deeply miss the sisterhood and community of being at Salt and Light Coalition.
Our program’s impact went beyond transforming their individual lives. Their transformation also impacted their families and communities.
Some of our graduates could be missing out on opportunities for career growth because of inadequate education.
The Reignite Retreat sets to remediate the above gaps holistically. Our approach is to focus on all areas of Thriver graduate life, especially career advancement, educational growth, investment strategies and legacy, to ensure we deepen the impact of our original Thriver investment. Our goal is to enable Thrivers to further develop their careers and financial strength, so that they can live empowered lives and have a great impact on their communities.
During the retreat, our volunteer-guided workshops will help Thrivers examine the state of their interpersonal relationships, health and wellness, personal and spiritual growth, career and educational goals, finances, and their social impact. Our main goal is to inspire personal growth, career development, and legacy thinking that will further transform our Thriver graduates and their communities.
Each Thriver will leave the retreat with a detailed life plan and actionable goals. The Thriver will be scheduled for a monthly check-in with their mentors for the next 12 months to ensure they are making measurable progress toward their goals.
